Happy Birthday to You

I have watched this little guy grow up! Isn't he so cute?!? He came in for birth portraits and his mom has been bringing him back ever since. He had so much fun with the balloons! Thanks for being a friend and client!

Brotherly Love

How precious are these guys! Big brother was so great with little brother. We shot some in studio and headed outdoors on the studio grounds for some more! They were awesome sports even though it was getting pretty warm outside! I enjoyed meeting your family!

Studio Events

Now that the studio construction is coming to a close and we have more space, we will be hosting events throughout the year! We are very, very excited about these events!! We hope you will enjoy them and come and have some fun with us!! Some of these events will be charity related and others will be joint venture events with other vendors. The first of these events will be a P.A.W.S. Pet Portrait Charity Event held on July 18 & 19. We have plans for a Matilda Jane Trunk Show (I just went to one in Tulsa - love the clothes!!), a special Christmas charity event, and others I will announce at later dates! (Girls always need to spend time with friends:)) I will post details on the blog and send e-mails. Make sure you are on our e-mail list!!

P.A.W.S. has been an organization very close to my heart. P.A.W.S. has worked tirelessly to improve the conditions for companion animals and was a major force in helping Pittsburg County get a much needed animal shelter. Below is P.A.W.S. mission statement:

P.A.W.S. is organized to promote the welfare of the community’s animal population and for that purpose:
1) To improve the quality of life for companion animals in Pittsburg County;
2) To promote public education toward the prevention of cruelty to or suffering of companion animals;
3) To encourage animal population control through spay and neuter programs;
4) To assist and promote animal adoptions;
5) To improve the quality of animal shelters.

The P.A.W.S. Pet Portrait Charity Event is a great time for all you animal lovers to bring your furry family members out to the studio for special portraits of their own! We will have several different scene choices available suited for large dogs, small dogs, cats, etc.! Special packages will be available and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to P.A.W.S.! I will be posting more details and sample images in the coming weeks so keep checking back. Appointments are being taken so call soon to reserve yours and help P.A.W.S. continue to help more animals!!

Ranch Land

Just a quick post in between studio remodel work.....I photographed this family last week at their ranch. It is such a beautiful place...I didn't want to leave!

Studio Construction Update

Well....it's almost complete!!! I am so excited it is almost finished, I can't stand it! The carpet in the viewing room has been installed and my cabinet maker is here this week finishing trim work, etc. We still have lots of cleaning and decorating to do. We have all new studio prints I can't wait to get displayed! John Perry is making beautiful frames for them all. He also has a couple of new unique custom frames I think you will love.

We will also be adding many new and exciting products for you. One area of the greeting room will be designated for frames, jewelry, and other custom photo products. We will be having a grand opening in the coming months, so stay tuned! Also, I will be doing less physical mailings, and more e-mail advertising in the future. The Big '1'

Miss P is celebrating her first birthday. She is a doll! Her mom had the cutest outfits & cake! Another one of my client's mother made that cake. Isn't it so cute? (Great job, Linda!) Thanks for choosing me to capture her first birthday portraits! I appreciate it! Have a great time at her party this week!
